Pin Hole Grate
Bunge acquired a new steam generation unit using HPB sugarcane bagasse boilers to support the planned growth of the Moema plant in Orindiúva-SP.
The selected steam generator is a suspended, single-drum type, with membrane panels in the furnace, economizer and air preheater type heat recovery systems, and equipped with a Pin Hole grate combustion system.
Bunge already uses HPB technology in some of its units, and the Moema plant already operates an HPB boiler with a capacity of 150 t/h of steam, in service since July 2000.
